Okay, it says that the module failed to load but not why. Maybe we can try to figure out why by adding more debug info:
copy the file /etc/pulse/default.pa to ~/.pulse/default.pa then edit the file and add this line: set-debug-level 4 if you've manually enabled network sinks/sources in that file already, make sure the line is above that line, otherwise it should be above "load-module module-zeroconf-discover" (but after "load-module module-udev-detect", or you will be swamped with debug messages). Save and reboot and see if there is more interesting information in "grep pulseaudio /var/log/syslog" now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/844653 Title: pulseaudio does not detect networked sound card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/844653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
