** Description changed:

When introducing the credentials on the "Who are you?" screen of the
install, if the computer name already exists on the network an error
appears next to the name (this should be a warning). In any case, if
ignored, the error/warning will be cleared when introducing a password.
+
+ It has happened in every installer I have tried so far (Natty and
+ Oneiric), but in particular it is reproducible here:
+
+ DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10
+ Package: ubiquity (not installed)
+ ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-10.16-generic 3.0.4
+ Uname: Linux 3.0.0-10-generic x86_64
+ ApportVersion: 1.22.1-0ubuntu2
+ Architecture: amd64
+ Date: Tue Sep 13 14:15:48 2011
+ InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Beta amd64 (20110913)
+ ProcEnviron:
+ LANGUAGE=en_GB:en
+ PATH=(custom, no user)
+ LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
+ SHELL=/bin/bash
+ SourcePackage: ubiquity
+ UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
