Hello! The bug is not fixed at all! After one of several kernel updates, the bug reappears! Plymouth seems to be the cause. To fix : sudo dpkg-reconfigure plymouth solve temporally the problem to the new kernel upgrade... I'm also on a debian testing. I've never seen this bug on debian because debian don't use plymouth... How can we safely remove plymouth? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572279 Title: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (0) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/572279/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
