the size of a button has nothing to do with more or less readability. It hat to 
do with hitability.
But another example are websites. The buttons on websites aren't that big, too.

To have a lot of place in a windows is wrong. We should make windows as
small als possible, because it's annoying to have windows that are
filling my hole screen, instead of having two windows next to each
other.

I just can give the example of OS X.
