When issueing the command

$ gphoto2 --shell

I get a new prompt starting with gphoto2

gphoto2: {/home/lesdoublefaces} />

I then tried a  ls command, and after a long time I got this error
message:

*** Erreur ***
PTP erreur d'entrée sortie

*** Erreur ***
Une erreur est intervenue dans la bibliothèque d'entrée-sortie ('Erreur 
indéfinie'): Pas de description d'erreur disponible
*** Erreur (-1 : "Erreur indéfinie") ***

Which I would translate by :

An error occured in the input-output library ('Undefined error') : No
error description available.

What should I do next ?
