I installed Oneiric from a netboot .iso dated 2011-09-06, and the install was not multiarch-enabled as Steve describes.
That said, I've confirmed that doing echo foreign-architecture i386 > /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch as he describes, and running "apt-get update", then makes it possible to install flashplugin-installer (and, critically, flashplugin-downloader) successfully. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840867 Title: flashplugin-installer : Depends: flashplugin-downloader To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin-nonfree/+bug/840867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
