I'm marking this Incomplete because it specifies neither a theme, nor text that fails to display in that theme.
In Ubuntu 11.10, the only dark theme that is easy to choose (without installing gnome-tweak-tool) is High Contrast Inverse. I have reported bug 844814, bug 845005, and bug 845010 about specific text in that theme. ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/651320 Title: flashing while navigating using any dark theme, some dark themes make text non-readable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/651320/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
