Public bug reported: Software in use:
Ubuntu: Description: Ubuntu oneiric (development branch) Release: 11.10 Varnish: Installed: 3.0.0-4 Candidate: 3.0.0-4 Version table: *** 3.0.0-4 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status What I expected to happen: Starting varnishd should let it run in system time. What happened instead: Varnish is ignoring both date (CEST) and hwclock (whatever I change it to after disabling NTP) and runs in UTC time (can be seen in syslog timestamps - everything else is fine - and in http response headers). Please do let me know if I can be of any further assistance in resolving this bug. ** Affects: varnish (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 11.10 oneiric ubuntu varnish -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/843827 Title: Varnish (3.04) runs in UTC time zone despite different local time zone To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/varnish/+bug/843827/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
