As I said, I have contacted the upstream developper, and this is
actually not a bug. Here is his answer (with the file attached) :

Hi Vincent,

I know this problem. It's a matter of preference,
which method to use. I have chosen the one I thought
would be the commonest. I learned it and use it. And
there are ergonomic keyboards, which only allows the
current fingers disposition teached by Klavaro. See
the next link:

http://www.fentek-ind.com/lkbergo9520psb.jpg

But also there is the method shown by you. See the
next link, which is adequate for it:

http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_images/microsoft_ergonomic_keyboard_4000_black_usb_large.jpg

So, the bug is not
"The fingers disposition is wrong."
but
"There is no option for easily applying other fingers
dispositions".

I say no easily option because there is a trick:
substitute the attached file I'm sending here
(fingers_position.txt) in your "/usr/share/klavaro/"
subdir.

Maybe it could be included as an alternative option
for the user to pick. But I guess it wouldn't be easy
to explain the differences between them, I mean,
advantages and disadvantages...

Thanks for the interest,

Felipe Castro.
