Though Vuescan worked perfectly in Ubuntu Dapper Drake (6.06), it was
impossible for me to get this program working in Feisty Fawn (7.04).
Looking through several forums I discovered it has probably something to
do with libusb. The author of VueScan informed me also that this problem
would be caused by libusb-problems.
The scanner is a Minolta Dimage Dual II (AF-2820U) USB-slidescanner
connected through a USB port.
