Public bug reported: When I press my laptop's fn-F11/fn-F12 keys (volume down/volume up), a volume change notification is displayed. That notification always displays a volume at a maximum 100% level, whatever the current volume is.
The volume change itself still works fine. The speaker icon in the unity top bar displays the right volume level. The mute button (fn-F10) works properly: no sound is left, and both the unity top bar icon and the notification volume display are correctly at zero. I've just upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 and this worked fine before the upgrade.
