Sorry - I was just following this procedure: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status states that "If you have to ask the reporter questions, set the bug to Incomplete".
If you're already dealing with it then that's fine - I won't attempt to look in to it myself as I was originally planning. What I was wondering was if there were any steps that consistently caused the crash to be triggered, so I could test it in a controlled environment on my system with the same model of GPU. Also, I have witnessed a lot of commits upstream that may have already reached Oneiric which fixed various Sandy Bridge GPU related issues, so I was asking you to test it just in case the problem was no longer existent. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/839808 Title: Intel Sandybridge crash that takes Kwin with it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/839808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
