I was hoping if you would be able to provide a bit more information.
What version of ubuntu are you running and what version of gimmie?
Does this occur if you change the location of the taskbar applet (ie if
you use it on the top bar instead of the bottom one)?
Any more information you can provide will be much appreciated.
