My bad. Update to 2.6.38-11 hadn't trickled through to my grub (I've a
rather complex setup) and though that kernel was installed, it wasn't
booting - but I hadn't noticed until reviewing the (mistaken) bug
submission. I've fixed the grub setup and confirm that 2.6.38-11 is ok
regarding autostarting hidden wireless SSID network connection.
