I was trying to set up a printer again. The dialog sometimes works, sometimes it does not. There is nothing like "Apply changes". It looks like they are sometimes applied but sometimes applying the changes silently fails. Or it is not obvious when the new setting is already changed. Perhaps the change is applied when focus leaves the changed control or something like that. The fact that the gnome-cups-manager is slow like hell does not help the situation much. Also changing the settings on the cups web is not easy. The web would sometimes accept my password and at other times it would not. I tried like five times while it was not working so it is unlikely I got it wrong every time. -- cannot set driver in gnome-cups-manager https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110946 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
