Had the same issue. Switching to RRZN mirror fixed that for me (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de- archive3).
According to the mirrors status overview de.archive.org repository synchronization is one week behind (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archivemirrors).
