Public bug reported: The description in the Software center is quite good : "This package adds a "Resize Images..." menu item to the context menu of all images.".
However, after installation, there is nothing in Nautilus. A simple restart of Nautilus is enough, but the user doesn't know that. It's not critical, as a simple reboot will fix this issue, but it would be even better if a message like "You need to restart the file manager to enable this option. Do you want to do this now ? (all your opened file browser windows will be closed)" was displayed after installation. ** Affects: nautilus-image-converter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/836528 Title: The user doesn't know where to find this tool after installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-image-converter/+bug/836528/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
