Public bug reported:

My laptop (Eurocom P170HM Neptune) has 4 speakers.

When i plug the headset in, only two (the main ones) gets muted, while
the smaller two front speakers still work)

When I noticed that problem, i tried to add the ubuntu-audio-dev ppa to
my system, and joy oh joy, it fixed the problem.

However after doing a software update yesterday, the problem came back
:( :( :( :( I can see there was a new release on the ppa that came out
yesterday (2.6.38-.201108271604), so I'm guessing it regressed on that
bug :(
