Little bit more clarification. When system boots, I can see console on external display. But when X starts, external display goes to standby....
With older kernel everything was fine. xrandr does not here in anyway.... If I go to console with Ctrl-Alt-F1, it will not help... When I do logout, then external display goes up and shows. But if I login again, then it goes standby again... ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/833547 Title: xrandr shuts down external HDMI display To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/833547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
