** Description changed: This is supposed to be fixed in GNOME 3.2 (11.10) but it apparently is not. When you create an ad-hoc network, the system keeps reconnecting to - it, but does not actually remain connected. + it, but does not actually remain connected. In the latest updates (with + nm 0.9) the hotspot is created, but after about 30 seconds it + disconnects. I will attach the output from nm-applet later.
