I have a very similar problem, which I should add here for completeness. If I open a directory with nautilus that contains svg files, icons fail to display correctly (those listed before the .svg file do, those alphabetically after it don't), and nautilus is ok until I try to delete, copy, move or access any files in that directory. Once I attempt any of those actions one of my cpu's goes too 99%-100% cpu activity, as listed by top. No action appears to fix this until I force a quit on nautilus, at which point it restarts correctly.
If I create a subdirectory (svgs/) and move all of the .svg files into that subdirectory, the parent directory becomes accessible again, and all file activity becomes available. All icons also return to their correct state. Hope that helps. -- Nautilus cpu usage of 100%, locks up when pressing the view-menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
