Affects me on Acer Timeline X 5820T running the latest Natty release 11.04 with kernel 2.6.38.11-generic amd64.
battery indicator shows as if the power is plugged in even when on battery and that the battery is fully charged. The computer doesnt seem to notice the transition between running on mains and on battery..
