** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Medium

** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Triaged

** Description changed:

  When you have two windows of a type they are shown on the unity task
  switcher as a single icon. When you alt-down on that icon it shows the
  windows in minature. However when one of them is iconified there is
  simply a gap in the bar big enough for the window.

  Probabally there should be an icon in the space to indicate it is
  iconified.
+
+ TEST CASE:
+ 1. Open 2 gnome-terminal
+ 2. Minimize one of them
+ 3. Use ALT+TAB and select the 'Terminal' icon then ALT-DOWN to open the
detailed view
+
+ Result:
+ There is an empty space for the iconified terminal.
