I have a fresh install of 11.04, I tried to install slim, but it just hangs on the loading splash screen. I'm pretty sure I have the same problem as this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1817994
In /var/log/slim.log it says Fatal server error: no screens found This is really a shame, since I've been using slim with Ubuntu as long as I can remember, and I love it.
