I'm not sure if we can do anything about this anymore. A lot has changed since this was reported and without the /etc/clamav/clamd.conf.ucf-new to see what the conflict was I think it would be hard to fix anything... Ubuntu 8.10 is EOL and clamav is up to 0.96.5 (soon 0.97.2) in every current release. Could this be marked 'Incomplete' and let it expire?
