Dear Iain Thank you for reminding me to test on Oneiric. I found a bug in Debian package and the bug is fixed. The updated package is uploaded to Debian mentors and is waiting sponsor to upload to Debian.
To test acsccid, pcscd and pcsc-tools are needed. pcsc-tools provides gscriptor and it can be used to send command to smart card readers. acsccid provides pcsc-ifd-handler and pcscd will use it. Therefore, you can't see any application dependencies.
