Ahh, looks like I'm a bit behind! This has been known upstream for a while[1], and is fixed in the trunk, to be released as version 2 in a couple of months. Until then, I hope to have unstable packages building again in the PPA from September, or you could try building trunk yourself, or using the prebuilt nightlies[2,3].
