I recently received an x220 (4286CTO) with i5-2520M and I don't seem to have this problem. I have bios version 1.20 and the kernel below.
Linux <foo> 2.6.38-10-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 28 15:07:17 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I did a fresh install of 11.04 and immediately updated. The only non- standard thing I've done is disable wireless N via modprobe.d config because it's problematic with the wifi card I have (Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1000 [8086:0084]) Let me know if there is other information I can provide. I know how incredibly annoying suspend/resume bugs are. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/818194 Title: Suspend and Hibernate Fails Randomly with Thinkpad X220 i5 prcoessor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/818194/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
