I recently received an x220 (4286CTO) with i5-2520M and I don't seem to
have this problem.   I have bios version 1.20  and the kernel below.

I did a fresh install of 11.04 and immediately updated.   The only non-
standard thing I've done is disable wireless N via modprobe.d  config
because it's problematic with the wifi card I have (Intel Corporation
Centrino Wireless-N 1000 [8086:0084])

Let me know if there is other information I can provide.   I know how
incredibly annoying suspend/resume  bugs are. :)
