Right : Hashtags # work very well on identica and twitter with search tab. But
on identica, there is also an option for groups :
http://identi.ca/group

Name of group has a ! before. Example : if you subscribe to Ubuntu
group, when someone post a message with !Ubuntu, you will receive it
even if you are not following his timeline.

This part works well in Gwibber, I receive all the messages from the
groups I have joined.

But contrary to the #hashtags, !groups are not clickable links and do
not allow to do a search in identica groups.

According identi.ca support, there is no group search api end point
right now

So, question is : if a word has a "!" just before it without space between them
(like !gwibber), is it possible to make it as link and redirect to :
http://identi.ca/group/gwibber

If group does not exist, this will display an error message "Not found"

If yes, it would allow to subscribe easily to a group on identica web
page.
