Paul, thanks for reporting this bug. Unfortunately, there isn't enough
information here so that bug triagers can easily confirm this bug. What
specific software are you using with yelp to see footnotes? Could you
point us to the software homepage?
I am going to go ahead and mark this as a yelp-xsl bug as I'm guessing
that the Yelp 3 stylesheets are at fault.
