Hot-plugging the second monitor works fine, I just run 'xrandr' in a terminal and the second monitor comes on and the desktop gets extended. I have the second monitor on the right of the primary one, so the defaults work fine.
I can also confirm that I can shut down the machine, disconnect the second monitor, boot the machine back up and after logging in, hot-plug the second monitor again, and everything works fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/821205 Title: machine hard-locks when using two monitors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/821205/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
