That was easy enough, and no joy. Brought the system back up and with just Thunderbird and Firestarter open, I opened a File Browser window to try and move it to another desktop, and same thing; both screens cycle through each desktop.
Again, I want to mention that around two or three Nvidia upgrades ago, it stopped doing this briefly.
