I modified the file "/etc/default/virtualbox-ose" in the way propose by Xavier Bassery but this didn't work for me.
In order to uninstall virtualbox-ose, I selected the recorey option at starting screen and choose the netroot (non-gui session with networking). In the console we used dpkg -P virtualbox-ose to uninstall and it worked for me. I think that in this way the module isn't no load. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/745429 Title: package virtualbox-ose 4.0.4-dfsg-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+bug/745429/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
