I have all packages up-to-date. I have a battery indicator but it does not update. It is red and not filled in as if my battery is completely discharged. This occurred when I upgraded the linux kernel to 3.0.0-7-generic using apt-get. My Dell Mini 10 v has been plugged in all day. Battery indicator was working prior to kernel upgrade. Verified good power source and AC adapter. AC adapter has an led indicating when power is on/applied.
mista@3bootmini:~$ sudo apt-get install indicator-power [sudo] password for mista: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done indicator-power is already the newest version. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. mista@3bootmini:~$ I even removed indicator-power, rebooted. Battery indicator no longer displayed. Re-installed indicator-power. Red/unfilled battery indicator returned. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801180 Title: battery indicator is not displayed in oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-icon-theme/+bug/801180/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
