Public bug reported: I tried several times to install Ubuntu Server 11.04 x64 on an HP Proliant Microserver N36L. The install was from a bootable usb drive.
The install would always result in an unbootable machine unless I selected "without LVM" in the partitioning phase. ** Affects: grub-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/815852 Title: Installing ubuntu server on HP Proliant Microserver fails with LVM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/815852/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
