The same happened to me. I solved it by installing driver version 275.19 from ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates and running
gconftool --type string --set /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager metacity for every user. I don't know if the ppa driver is necessary, you may try the gconftool command alone first. I also don't know why the gconftool command fixes the problem. I observed the problem didn't occur with settings from an old account and a lot of trial and error showed that this gconf setting makes the difference. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/797403 Title: Xinerama with Nvidia-settings don't work since Natty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-settings/+bug/797403/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
