Thank you for your bug report. Conservative users are supposed to stay on the LTS version until the next LTS version (probably the version released in spring 2008). For the less conservative users they will upgrade every 6 months to the next version available and would have already been on Edgy by the time Feisty was available. So upgrading directly from Dapper to Feisty, skipping Edgy, doesn't fit either scenario, and is not officially supported.
