OpenAFS's internal build support doesn't use the generic /usr/src/linux
link.  It uses /lib/modules/<version>/build.

With DKMS, OpenAFS just trusts DKMS and uses the ${kernel_source_dir}
variable which is set by DKMS, but I'm fairly sure DKMS does something
similar.
