Interesting: I haven't got hyperthreading, only a normal dual-core. But
I though I should try the workaround from the forum nevertheless. And
see, it works!

Running
echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
seems to solve the problem permanently after each suspend/resume.
