Hey! I haven’t gotten this bug since 2008, and it was something I reproduced by just waiting around for it to crash (it happened often). So, it’s fair to say for now that it’s fixed. I suppose one thing that might be relevant is that back then, the power receptacle on my compy was busted and so the AC power was constantly activating and deactivating whenever the system was nudged. I’ve replaced the receptacle since then, though (and it’s something I should’ve done much sooner; it’s a problem that can easily fry your motherboard). I can’t remember if there was any connection between fixing the receptacle and the power manager no longer crashing, though. It’s been so long...
