Public bug reported: Kubuntu 11.04. I have tried to hibernate laptop (Dell Latitude E6500, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz, 64 bits) five or six times. No problem in hibernation, after half a minute or so, the laptop gets powered down, but when I power it up, system boots and a black screen appear. Sometimes X just get frozen (KDE4) or bars appear on the screen (no reaction to keyboard or mouse). Other times in the black screen appears what it seems a dump of memory with the laptop hanged. Today the laptop just power down itself after these messages in the console. One time, X worked, but plasma in KDE did not work and only mouse and not keyboard worked. I had to reboot system. Please, could you solve this problem? Nowadays it is impossible to hibernate this laptop. The hardware:
