Same problem here with Kubuntu 11.04 and Luciole 0.8 (78). When clicking Create a new project, choosing a name, clicking Forward, choosing WEBCAM and clicking Forward again, it shows "Please wait for webcam detection". I tried to wait over a quarter of an hour and still nothing was detected. In contrast, Kopete (the KDE instant messaging client) immediately detects the webcam.
