Ok I tried removing splash and quiet and got to loading a bit further. It loads 100% of Linux Kernel and then freeze at "Loading /casper/initrd.gz" and there are no error messages. But strangely if i leave the boot options there it (sometimes) proceed to 24 %.
What does the two dashes(--) at the end of the boot string do?
