Thanks for your report. I confirm that the behaviour of this indicator is really weird. It closes when the user clicks on the slider, then when it is reopened, the slider follow the mouse, then if you click on the slider again it selects the slider with a translucid orange area.
Note that when reproducing this bug, bug 804205 occurred. ** Changed in: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Also affects: indicator-sound (Ubuntu Oneiric) Importance: High Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: indicator-sound (Ubuntu Oneiric) Assignee: (unassigned) => Jean-Baptiste Lallement (jibel) ** Changed in: indicator-sound (Ubuntu Oneiric) Assignee: Jean-Baptiste Lallement (jibel) => Canonical Desktop Team (canonical-desktop-team) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/804009 Title: clicking on the volume slider closes the SoundMenu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-sound/+bug/804009/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
