libv4l and my webcam have crashed gstreamer-properties, cheese, and
skype.

Gstreamer-properties crashes with this:

(gstreamer-properties:2972): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: Failed to deactivate
pad v4l2src5:src, very bad.

Subsequent attempts to use the webcam show this:

gstreamer-properties-Message: Error running pipeline 'Video for Linux 2
(v4l2)': Cannot identify device '/dev/video0'. [v4l2_calls.c(493):
gst_v4l2_open (): /GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstV4l2Src:v4l2src1:
system error: No such file or directory]

And somehow, after some time, /dev/video1 is created, and if I selected
it works, for a time. When *that* crashes, again, somehow, after some
time, /dev/video0 exists again, and it "works".

On skype the video crash happened within the minute.

My HW: Aspire One 535h, Acer crystal eye webcam.
Ubuntu 11.04.
