I can confirm this behaviour. I tried to get the driver work ob Natty 64 bit and asked for help on a german Supportforum. I have written the results in the attached console.txt file. After adding
auto eth1 iface eth1 inet dhcp to /etc/network/interfaces and restarting the network i was again getting the system_call_fastpath+0x16/0x1b failiure. After restarting the whole system i wasn't even able to enter the console, getting this bug on sturtup.
