Public bug reported: Amarok 2:2.4.0-0ubuntu5.1 on Kubuntu Natty
The only controls available on MP3 files are play/pause and stop. I cannot move the track forward or back. After an upgrade from Maverick to Natty, Amarok stopped playing MP3s. I solved this by installing the necessary gstreamer plugins (gstreamer0.10 -plugins-bad, gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg, and gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3), but now the only controls available on MP3 files are play/pause and stop, there are no forward/reverse actions anywhere in the UI. Is there a missing/better plugin that I need to install? ** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to amarok in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801295 Title: No random access to a playing MP3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amarok/+bug/801295/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
