I double-checked, and the bug is not present any more even if I have not upgraded my configuration by the time: i still run Brasero 2.30.2 on lucid. ...and well, I am obviously a little shamed for this. But I swear I did try any kind of different CDs before I filed the bug, to be sure that the culprit wasn't something related to some specific optical support. So, sorry for having bothered... but let me know if I can do something else to clarify the situation.
