Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core
A user I support, running a fully updated 6.06LTS, reports this crash on three machines with various video cards using software rendering, running glxgears with the system loaded. It appears to be a fixed bug in Mesa: see http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7205 This is the backtrace he gets, which matches the first one in the above URL. We rely on LTS and cannot update. It would be great if you could put this mesa fix into 6.06LTS for us. I can try to get any more details you need, but it looks pretty well covered in the freedesktop report. Thank you.
