Yesterday I've noticed, while configuring keyboard shortcuts in GNOME, that my F1-F12 keys are mapped as special commands like Ctrl + S and more that I don't remember (I'm at work), and that over the default printed key function on my keyboard there are additional funcions, therefore being F1-F12 keys double-labeled. But I did not find a switcher to these functions such as Shift, Ctrl or Caps Lock, and I don't understand why these keys are not mapped as the default F1-F12 keys.
Therefore I think that the menu boot interprets F2 key for example as another command like ctrl + some or else. Why? I don't know. And why on GNOME the functions work well but the shortcut config applet doesn't map the keys as F1-F12? I don't know either. -- Keyboard issues on CD boot menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108690 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
